Heartability empowers people to visualize their dreams and provides the resources that makes pursuing them possible.

The philosophy behind Heartability is inspired by guided meditation sessions with my Jungian psychotherapist where I often used video game metaphors to describe what I was experiencing. When integrating those visualizations, I would return to the metaphor looking for a solution to my real life problem based on that video game logic: if I was feeling under resourced, I just needed to fill my heart meter, or find a special tool to boost my efforts.

Eventually that process transitioned into my journals, later a YouTube series, and now a full video game world. Welcome.

Wellness programs, tools, and techniques are marketed as magic solutions that work, all the same, all the time, for everyone. After years of searching for the right tools, I started to believe that the brokenness inside of me might be helpless. I started to accept that maybe I would never find the answer to life, and I learned to be comfortable not knowing but trusting my intuition.

I stopped listening to sales pages that promised to solve my problems and began developing frameworks based on natural elements and biomimicry. I created pathways for deeper self-awareness through honest self-assessment, and looking for information that tells me how my body is feeling, how modalities affect me, and what direction I'm headed. My self-care started to become more intentional, practical, and surprisingly even more effective.

Trust me when I say, you don't always need that super herb from halfway across the world. Sometimes you just need to know how to repurpose something in your pantry. From Central America to Southeast Asia to the greatest city on Earth, my education includes:

Collaborators

Heartability wouldn't exist without the enormous support I've had over the years in development. Special acknowledgment to Stephanie Neutze for the hours of support over voice notes, Michelle Pellizon and Amanda Chase for writing my letters of rec to NYU, and my family for supporting my starving artist era.

Hannah Wnorowski

Hannah, creator of the Deck of Character, was my first creative collaborator within the Heartability universe. Together we created the Infinity Mirror game and guide characters across the site.
